Job Description: 


Analyze and coordinate the logistical functions of the government customer. Develop an understanding of customers' needs, and take actions to ensure that such needs are met. Explains proposed solutions to customers, management, or other interested parties through written proposals and oral presentations. Maintains and develops positive business relationships with a customer's key personnel involved in or directly relevant to a logistics activity. Protects and controls proprietary materials. Reviews logistics performance with customers against targets, benchmarks and service areements. Supports the development of training materials and technical manuals. Develops and implements technical project management tools such as plans, schedules, and responsibility and compliance matrices. Directs and supports the compilation and analysis of technical source data necessary for product development. Directs availability and allocation of materials, supplies, and finished products. Participates in the assessment and review of design alternatives and design change proposal impacts. Reports project plans, progress, and results.



Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
Required : Must hold or be capable of holding a TS / SCI clearance.

Required : Experience working with Air Force requirements and logistics.

Required : Experience working with Special Airlift Operations.

Required : Experience working with Hazardous Materials

Required : Demonstrated ability to solve problems with minimal guidance.

Required : Strong speaking and writing skills.

Typically the ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree with 6 years experience or 10 years experience in lieu of degree.



Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred : Operational experience integrating with both conventional and special operations forces.

Preferred : Headquarters staff or Pentagon experience.

Preferred : Air Force and joint deployed operational experience.

Preferred : Air Force and joint contingency planning experience.
