Job Description: 

The Northrop Grumman Public Safety Systems Operating Unit is seeking an experienced Public Safety Professional to join our team as a Computer-aided Dispatch (CAD) Subject Matter Expert (SME).

The position requires the candidate to interface with the customer and user communities to coordinate requirements, deliverables and solutions, and support the resulting integration of those requirements into the CommandPoint™
CAD product. The CAD SME must be familiar with all aspects of public safety operations including computer-aided dispatch (CAD), medical triage, telecommunications, logging and recording, public safety radio, automatic call distribution technologies, network and call center operations. The individual will work as part of the Systems Engineering team to identify and develop customer requirements, define use cases, create high level designs, and test scenarios.
Responsibilities include organizing and conducting internal meetings, as necessary with customer, internal and vendor personnel, preparing reports and presentations, participating in product management control boards, contributing to
proposal efforts, documenting CAD product capabilities, conducting product demonstrations, participating in formal customer acceptance testing, reviewing potential CAD product enhancements, and other product management-related
functions.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors and 9 years of experience

- Minimum of 7 years working with public safety agencies (Fire/EMS/Police), in a combined operational facility.
- Candidate must possess an in-depth practical working
knowledge of public safety call center operations and
technologies.
- Must be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
products/applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing Use Cases. Experience working
with Rationale Unified Process (RUP) desirable.
- Strong analytical as well as verbal and written communications skills.

Relocation assistance is not available.
