Job Description: 

Position requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph. No relocation is offered for this position.

Plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met. Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system. Coordinates modification records for management control. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • BS Degree in a technically related field plus a minimum of six (6) years experience developing, building, and managing Configuration Management (CM) systems for complex systems; additional applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Shall have a minimum of three (3) years experience using and administering CM tools to store, track and manage configuration items.
  • Shall have three (3) years experience working with developing teams and project managers to develop and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) supporting complex systems and project engineering development and support models.
  • Shall have experience with two (2) or more commercial software products used for configuration management and requirements documentation and tracking, preferably DOORS, Clearcase, and Eclipse.
  • Shall have demonstrated technical writing skills and shall have generated technical documents or have passed a course in technical writing.
