Job Description: 

Individuals collect and analyze cyber incidents, perform network operational impact assessments, and build and coordinate countermeasures for threat mitigation. Provides persistent monitoring on a 24/7 basis of all designated networks, enclaves, and system countermeasures. Interprets, analyzes, and reports all events and anomalies in accordance with Computer Network Defense directives, including initiating, responding, and reporting discovered events. Manages and executes responses to implement network mitigation solutions to prevent and eliminate cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Documents and coordinates enterprise and tiered level countermeasure activities. Reports to and coordinates with external organizations and authorities. Organizes and distributes directives, vulnerability, and countermeasure activities to identified consumers. Provides daily summary reports of network events and activities and delivers metric reports.

This position requires rotational shift schedules in the 24 X 7 support of the command.



Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

  • Bachelors Degree and 3 yrs relevant experience or 5years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • 4 years of Network Security experience.
  • 5 years of computer experience.
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Active TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance required.
  • Ability to support shift-work scheduling
  • Minimum Security certification required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum certification Security certification is required.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional desired.
