Candidate will be responsible for Quality Engineering activities in accordance with the documented quality management system, including (1) planning, controlling and assuring product and process quality is compliant with contract and company standards and procedures; and (2) effectively collecting, analyzing, organizing, and presenting data. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Computer or Science discipline with a minimum of 5 years experience. Candidate must have knowledge of manufacturing processes and products, have a fundamental understanding of quality philosophies, principles, systems, methods, tools and standards in support of an AS9100 system, and have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Candidate must also be able to obtain a U.S. secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the area of Quality Engineering for performance improvements and manufacturing process qualifications is preferred to support an Electronics Repair Center, contract reviews, redesign reviews, and various quality functions. Experience as a Mechanical Design, Manufacturing or Process Engineer with machine shop experience and supporting mechanical and electronic fabrication is a plus.
