Assist in the engineering assessment of equipment and systems Follow Systems Engineering disciplines and processes Derive technical data through testing and analysis Help in the coordination and development of engineering solutions Defend engineering solutions during internal reviews Research and determine requirements for electrical components and systems Assist in the development of source data for drawings and Technical Orders Other responsibilities may include: trade studies, project planning, cost estimating, system modeling, review of technical and management data, performance assessment, problem identification, corrective action planning and implementation, and acquisition support Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Be enrolled in an accredited bachelor's degree (or higher level) college/university program in one of the following engineering curricula: Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, or other similar engineering or scientific major Must have completed at least sophomore year of college/university Must have excellent leadership, written and verbal communications skills Must have experience in Microsoft Office - experience with SharePoint is a plus Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for 10 weeks during the summer 2012 semester Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite; a current clearance is helpful, but not required) GPA 3.2 or above is preferred |
