This position is for a Functional Manager of approximately 10 MMIC design engineers. Tasks will include project planning, manpower and resource assignment, general group supervision & engagement, managing cost & schedule performance, risk assessment and mitigation, ensuring related design process compliance, support/leadership of Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action team activities, analysis of design tools, processes, and technologies needed to support strategic product plans, presentations to program and senior management as needed.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications: Required BS degree and 7 yrs experience in engineering including responsibilities as functional manager, engineering manager or program manager. Good verbal and written communication skills and a basic understanding of MMIC design and RF devices is required. DoD Secret Clearance. Candidates who meet the basic qualifications of the position will be invited to complete a mandatory Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems Leadership Assessment developed by Gallup, a worldwide leader in strengths based selection.
