Parts And Logistics Internship Job Details

The Intern will:
• Research specifications and standards to support Logistics and Parts Engineering processes
• Research technical, reliability and maintainability data for components using government and commercial sources
• Review and evaluate engineering solutions for internal reviews for parts and logistics impacts
• Review engineering drawings and technical data
• Research parts using Fedlog

Basic Qualifications:

• Be enrolled in an accredited bachelor's degree (or higher level) college/university program in one of the following engineering curricula: Industrial, Manufacturing, Systems, Mechanical, or other similar engineering or scientific major
• Must have completed at least sophomore year of college/university
• Must have excellent leadership, written and verbal communications skills
• Must have experience in Microsoft Office - experience with SharePoint is a plus
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for 10 weeks during the summer 2012 semester
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite; a current clearance is helpful, but not required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• GPA 3.2 or above is preferred.
• Familiarity with IMDB, Jedmics, Fedlog, EMALL, or PowerLog
