NORTHROP GRUMMAN HAS OPPORTUNITIES WITH THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE PAPER AND REMITTANCE PROCESSING SUPPORT (IRS-PRPS) PROGRAM In support of the Internal Revenue Service Paper and Remittance Processing Support contract, Northrop Grumman is currently seeking qualified candidates in the Information Technology field. PRPS replaces two existing contracts: Integrated Submission Remittance Processing (ISRP) and Service Center Recognition/Imaging Processing System (SCRIPS); two contracts which process paper tax returns and remittances (checks). Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior System Engineer to provide operations expertise for the ISRP system. The Candidate must have demonstrated experience in providing high-level operations analysis for ISRP, system design, advanced problem solving and systems integration. Desired requirements include knowledge of and application of skills to all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, specifically leading system requirements, design, and development of desired system changes. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Final candidates must be able to obtain (or have) a current IRS Clearance, possess a Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science, and have 14 years experience. Preferred Qualifications: · Advanced knowledge and applied skills for ISRP; specifically system architecture, design, operations, and hardware · Previous experience working on IRS programs · Design and system integration · Demonstrated strength in system design, system operations and hardware support · Excellent written, verbal, and customer communications · Strong leadership skills and oversight of the Systems Lifecycle · Ability to solve complex problems and provide innovative solutions
