Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Quality Analyst 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Fairmont, WV. Join us on the edge… The Cutting Edge! The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's DoD ABIS Program, the leading biometric solution for the Department of Defense. The QA Analyst will report under Mission Assurance to the QA Manager and will work closely with internal employees and the government customers. Position is located in Fairmont WV. There are no provisions for relocation so candidates must reside within commuting distance of our office in Fairmont, or be willing to relocate there in a timely manner at their own expense if selected. Roles and Responsibilities: • Executing of and adhering to the Quality Control Plan/Quality Management Plan as well as the Program Management Plan. • Developing and performing audits of program processes. • Collecting metrics from process / product audits; reviewing deliverables prior to delivery; and verifying that Plan processes and procedures are carried out to conclusion. • Performing complex workflow analysis and reporting progress on problem resolution and quality improvement recommendations to the Quality Assurance Manager. • Participate in Peer Reviews, Risk Managment, Change Control Board (CCBs), Engineering Review Board (ERB), Engineering Process Group (EPG), and other internal and customer-based meetings and working groups. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: • Bachelor's Degree plus two years experience. Four additional years Quality experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor's Degree. • Experience with standard software support tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills due to extensive contact with the customer • Experience performing audits and/or validating against checklists in an IT environment • Must be able to obtain a Interim Secret ClearancePreferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: • Courses or degree in Software Development, Systems Engineering, Information Systems or Technology or other Technical-Related Field • Knowledge and experience in an SEI CMMI Level 3 (minimum) assessed environment • Experience with IBM Rational Tools and/or JIRA • Experience with Change Management • Background in Software, IT or other technical-related field • Position prefers a candidate with a current Secret Clearance For a listing of all Northrop Grumman open positions, please visit our website at http://careers.northropgrumman.com
