Perform supply support analysis and integration between Northrop Grumman and supplier base to resolve technical issues impacting product procurement/manufacture. Includes establishing processes & procedures to prevent supply disconnects while integrating logistics information from government & contractor sources at multiple locations. Assist in the development of BOM and SOW packages. Coordinate procurement action against proposed schedules and monitor purchase orders against financial commitments. Effectively communicate support impacts and resulting shortfalls on the supply chain. Provide technical information and oversight on the procurement of parts as well as perform production readiness reviews with suppliers. Individual will have knowledge of packaging, handling, and transportation requirements to include shipments containing hardware, shelf life materials, and other classified/non-classified products.
Individual will provide onsite surveillance for high reliability hardware as required and will work closely with Northrop Grumman quality organization to insure 100% compliance with requirements are achieved. The successful candidate will have manufacturing floor experience, be familiar with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, machined parts, fabricated assemblies, composites, transparencies and an additional broad range of aerospace commodities. Experience with environmental testing/qualification testing and ability to effectively support PDR, CDR, PMR and PRR activities as required.
The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of Contracts and Subcontracts; experience with proposal, audits, source selection and qualification of product assessment including manufacturing floor activities along with a broad range of Industry and Government technical standards/procedures. Successful candidate must be able to review and comprehend internal/external process specifications to determine correct quantities required to manufacture spare/new build assets. Ability to perform/participate in risk analysis and root cause corrective action analysis is a plus. Individual must have a solid knowledge of Parts, Materials and Processes. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Must have a bachelor’s degree and 9 years of experience in a related technical discipline working independently with minimal supervision at supplier facilities as a field representative. Must have sound knowledge of Industry and Government Technical requirements, specifications and standards. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and be proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Job requires occasional travel and the ability to achieve a Government Security Clearance.
