Job Description: 

Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Sr CA Spectrum Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Austin, Texas.

Put your years of experience into a future of excellence... The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's AACES Program, in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs Austin Information Technology Center.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Perform the duties of the subject matter expert on CA Spectrum Infrastructure Manager, CA Spectrum Service Assurance, and CA Virtual Assurance and other system management tools.
• Customize CA Spectrum Infrastructure Manager, CA Spectrum Service Assurance, and CA Virtual Assurance to provide dashboards, monitoring and alerts for numerous applications in the production and pre-production environments.
• Integrate CA Spectrum Infrastructure Manager, CA Spectrum Service Assurance, CA Virtual Assurance, and other CA components such as eHealth, NetQoS and Wily Introscope and CEM.
• Training of development and performance testing staff on the use of CA Spectrum Infrastructure Manager, CA Spectrum Service Assurance, CA Virtual Assurance to find the root cause of performance issues.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; additional experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Five years technical background and experience related to the administration/architecture of all aspects of CA Infrastructure and Service Management products.
• Eight years experience in deploying and managing network/infrastructure management systems
• Five years experience in the instrumentation, performance tuning, and problem diagnosis of J2EE/.Net distributed applications.
• Five years experience in us of various scripting languages such as Perl, Groovy, KornShell, Bash, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
• Experience with various network system monitoring tools such as Microsoft’s System Center Operations Manager, Nagios, Solarwinds Orion, and similar tools.mple: Bachelors degree in System Engineering
