Job Description: 

Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Sr. CA USD/CDMB/Cohesion System Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Austin, Texas.

Put your years of experience into a future of excellence... The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's program supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs Austin Information Technology Center.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Implement and support the CA Unicenter Service Desk, CA CMDB, Cohesion, Knowledge Tools, and Dashboard Service Support
• Provide as high as 3rd level technical administration support for the Service Support products to include all administrative tasks
• Resolve all Incidents logged to the Service Support staff in a timely, professional, and courteous manner
• Test and install, if appropriate, patches and service packs for the Service Support products
• Utilize database utilities to backup, extract, dereference, replace, and restore data into the MDB.
• Provide administration support by setting up notifications, service level events, security access types, surveys, service contracts, classic and/or CA Workflows, and other items in support of user requirements.
• Personalize, configure, adapt, and customize the Service Support suite to support business requirements.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• Bachelors in Computer Science or related discipline; 5 additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Demonstrated technical knowledge of the following operating systems: Windows 2000, Windows 2003 and Windows XP platforms.
• Demonstrated expert technical knowledge of Unicenter Service Desk r11.2-r12.5, Unicenter Service Desk Knowledge Tools r11.2-r12.5, Unicenter Service Desk Dashboard r11.2-r12.5, CA CMDB r11.2-r12.5, and Cohesion.
• Demonstrated professional oral and written communications skills, including the ability to prepare technical documents that present information clearly, concisely, and in an easily understood format.

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
• Bachelors in Computer Science or related discipline

This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and/or customer approval.
