Sr. Systems Administrator CA USD - Health IT Job Details

Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Sr. Systems Administrator CA USD to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Austin, Texas.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Provide as high as 3rd level technical administration support for the Service Support products to include all administrative tasks
• Utilize database utilities to backup, extract, dereference, replace, and restore data into the MDB
• Resolve all Incidents logged to the Service Support staff in a timely, professional, and courteous manner Test and install, if appropriate, patches and service packs for the Service Support products
• Provide administration support by setting up notifications, service level events, security access types, surveys, service contracts, classic and/or CA Workflows, and other items in support of AITC user requirements.
• Personalize, configure, adapt, and customize the Service Support suite to support business requirements.
• Provide advanced level mentoring for lower level technical support administration staff
• Provide industry and best practice technical suggestions and solutions within the ITIL framework Support the preparation of reference guides for users to help ensure a smooth transition to new releases of the Service Support products by providing editorial suggestions for the improvement of draft documentation.

Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• Bachelors in Computer Science or related discipline and 9 years of overall experience required. Additional experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• 3 years experience administering CA USD and CMDB
• 5 years administration or development experience in Windows 2000/2003encrionments
• Demonstrated expert technical knowledge of Unicenter Service Desk r11.2 – r12.5, Unicenter Service Desk Knowledge Tools r11.2-r12.5, Unicenter Service Desk Dashboard r11.2-r12.5, and CA CMDB r11.2-r12.5.
• Demonstrated professional oral and written communications skills, including the ability to prepare technical documents that present information clearly, concisely, and in an easily understood format.
