Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Sr. Weblogic Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Austin, Texas. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's AACES Program, in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs Austin Information Technology Center. Roles and Responsibilities: • Advanced WebLogic server and WebLogic portal architecture and administration involving Installation, Configuration, Tuning, and Deploying applications on WebLogic server and portal Versions 10.x and 11.x • Document, diagnose and correct problems that occur within installed WebLogic applications. • Configure WebLogic Servers in a Cluster solution for High Availability, Load balancing and fail over support. • Configure, administer and use Computer Associates Introscope J2EE performance monitoring. • Respond to Callback and serve as the initial point of contact for system failures, and ensure and coordinate the resolution and correction of production failures.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: • BS in Computer Science or related field and 10 years of applicable experience. Additional experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree. • Five years experience related to the administration/architecture of BEA WebLogic server and portal, versions 8.x, 9.x, and 10.x • Five years experience in Weblogic automation utilizing WLST and Python • Five years experience in J2EE development • Five years experience in configuring WebLogic Servers in a Cluster solution for High Availability, • Experience with Computer Associates/Wily’s Introscope performance monitoring application. Experienced in J2EE development. Experience in Tuning and Deploying Web Logic server and portal clustered applications. Experience in Web Logic best practices. Expert knowledge on distributed systems and the support of highly distributed deployment J2EE servers. Load balancing and fail over support. Linux (Red Hat) and Solaris experience. Knowledge of Web Security tools- LDAP Server, SSL Certificates. Experience in profiling Java applications using tools such as; Jprobe, OptimizeIT, etc This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and/or customer approval.
