Supervisor Test Inspection 1 Job Details

At the Rancho Bernardo Global Hawk Facility the supervisor position will be r esponsible for daily operations of a team or work unit including direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, day to day workflow, and operating costs. Supervisor responsibilities include: overseeing product verification and evaluation of compliance to engineering requirements with approved inspection methodologies in accordance with applicable standards, processes, and procedures . Responsibilities also include v alidation of current training requirements for personnel, calibration of measurement equipment, safety, foreign object elimination/ electrostatic discharge compliance, process audit performance and implementation of corrective action for control and prevention of shop floor processes using AITS (Action Item Tracking System) and CPATS (Corrective Preventive Action Tracking System). Position will interface with Customer, management, support groups, and Suppliers. Position will be responsible for maintaining acceptable levels of customer satisfaction according to defined policies.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree or Equivalent and 5 plus years of experience. Candidate must have strong communication skills. Applicant may specialize in the areas of design, hardware-software compatibility, electronics, process control, producability, reliability, research and development as applicable to product and process quality.

Preferred Qualifications: Dale Carnegie or equivalent preferred. Candidate may be certified in lean and six-sigma methodologies. ASQ Certification as CQE, CQA, CQM is a plus.
