Systems Administrator 2 Job Details

Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Washington, DC.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Administer BlackBerry Server 4.1 and 5.0 servers, Good Mobile Server, eCopy Server, Print Server, and iManage Server.
• General Systems Engineering and Administration
• Create and Maintain SOPs and Disaster Recovery Documentation for Systems
• Create project plans and test plans for new systems.
• Perform weekend and nighttime patch maintenance as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues
• Answer phones to assist service desk as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of three years experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• 3-5 Years Windows Server 2000, 2003, or 2008 administration
• 3-5 Years supporting a large enterprise environment with Blackberry's
• Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Designation
• Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
• Bachelors Degree
• MSCE preferred
• BlackBerry certified Administrator preferred
• Position prefers a candidate with a current Position of Public Trust Designation
