Honeywell is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist!


As the Product Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for providing marketing support to drive global growth and drive product line performance and profitability. In this role, you will work with Product Management, Sales, Pricing, Marketing Communications, and Engineering to support pricing strategies, competitive analysis, product lifecycle management, marketing materials, and product portfolio development.



Sensing and Control (S&C) is a strategic business unit in Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). S&C is one of the world's leading suppliers of sensors, switches, machine safeguarding and other devices for a variety of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) applications in the aerospace, medical, transportation, industrial, and test and measurement sectors.



This Product Specialist role is responsible for supporting the growth and profitability of the Sealed Aerospace Switches.



Key responsibilities will include:


  • Product line business performance.

  • Gathering and reporting information concerning key business execution targets such as revenue, gross profit, and operating income targets

  • Collaborate with the sales organization to ensure accuracy and execution of the pressure and airflow new business opportunity pipeline and track resulting revenue

  • Provide information and analyses for business reviews and monthly reports

  • Coordinate and execute on daily pricing requests from RFQ's and special pricing requests. Report on pricing actions.

  • Conduct pricing and profitability analyses to ensure that key product line goals are being met

  • Assist application engineering with organization and execution of product sample requests

  • Poll key customers and sales account managers for updated forecasts; Feed forecast information to the Pressure demand manager / SIOP process.

  • Develop product portfolio growth strategy.

  • Regular update and consolidation of competitive activity

  • Work with sales channel to determine market trends for choosing Honeywell and competitive products (Wins and Losses)

  • Dissect product sales and sampling trends by product attributes to aid direction for product development, and other product line initiatives

  • Support VOC (Voice Of Customer) activities / assist with development of VOC plans

  • Provide assistance during STRAP and AOP processes

Basic Qualifications:


  • BA/BS degree in a business or technical related field

  • 2 years of product marketing experience




Preferred Qualifications:



  • MBA preferred

  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Office products (Excel & PowerPoint)

  • Reporting Tools Sales (SFDC)

  • 2 years experience with Marketing Specialist experience (Pricing, analysis, brand management, etc.)

  • Aero Space marketing experience

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • SAP experience
