An excellent career opportunity is available for a Lead Process Engineer within the Gas Processing Development group of UOP's Research and Development organization located in Des Plaines, IL. This group plays a leading role in development of new and improved gas processing technologies for UOP's customers, including solvent, membranes, and adsorption process and equipment technology. The successful candidate will apply chemical/mechanical engineering know-how to develop new processes/equipment and improve existing technologies for processing gas with an emphasis on off-shore applications. The successful candidate will work with other Senior Technologists in the development of new projects and will take a leading role in projects that are selected. The candidate will also periodically support marketing efforts by UOP's business units by providing technical support including customer demonstration testing, writing technical papers, developing yield estimates and performing economic analyses.
