An excellent career opportunity is available for a Tolling and Raw Material Manager in the R&D Manufacturing Product Technology Group. This position plays a leading role in prioritizing and managing raw material sourcing projects for R&D and the CAS business. The position must also support R&D and the business's tolling process as new business initiatives arise. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in raw materials science associated with heterogeneous catalyst and adsorbents for the Refining and Petrochemical industries and/or have a solid background in Manufacturing or Procurement. The candidate will support UOP's Procurement process and have strong ties to SM Procurement and Integrated Supply Chain. The position also has a quality element and will support UOP's quality process by leading product quality task forces and managing aspects of UOP's quality process. Basic Qualifications • B.S. Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, in lieu of a B.S. Degree a minimum of ten years of experience in R&D or Manufacturing is acceptable. Additional Qualifications • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with Research and Development, Integrated Supply Chain, CAS Business leaders, and external vendors. • Technical expertise to understand viability of secondary raw material candidates and toll manufacturers. • Skills for development of recipes for toll manufacturing vendors • Skills to evaluate market indicators to develop strategies around raw material supply. • Skills to participate and provide recommendations for M&A activity • Skills to evaluate and select best alternatives We offer a team oriented environment along with exciting career opportunities and a highly competitive compensation and benefits package.
