We currently have an opening for a Manufacturing / IC Test Engineer at our facility in Richardson, TX.



Job Description:



As an IC Test Engineer, you will design component-level circuits and develop automated test system software for analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits. You will work closely with Design Engineering, Program Management, and Manufacturing in delivering the highest quality level of tested products. You will be responsible for supporting new product introductions in defining test plans, writing test programs, then releasing to production.


Basic Qualifications:



• BS in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
• 5 years of experience in production wafer testing



Additional Qualifications:




  • Extensive working knowledge of analog and digital electronics.

  • Trouble shooting and problem solving skills

  • Strong hardware experience

  • Solid understanding of schematic capture and circuit theory

  • Broad programming skills and experience (Pascal, Labview, C , GPIB and Rack and Stack programming)

  • Experience with EG1034/EG2001 prober preferred

  • Experience with Teradyne A300/A360 test system preferred

  • Experience with Teradyne M118 and GSI M310 and M350 Laser system preferred

  • Experience with test bench equipment, including, but not limited to oscilloscope, Keithley, HP meters.

  • Strong knowledge of silicon integrated circuit test and characterization (MR, Hall, Pressure Sensor, Opto)

  • Data driven / results oriented with a high level of initiative and a desire to make a positive impact on a manufacturing organization

  • Familiar with statistical tools (GRR, DOE, SPC)

  • Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision

  • Strong communication skills to ensure effective participation in cross-functional, interdepartmental, and customer focus teams
