Your primary responsibilities include: Support and maintain Honeywell's HSE policies and programs as well as ensuring compliance with all related federal, state and local health, safety and environmental regulations. - Performs intensive HSE audits of operations and provides detailed analysis & recommendations required for regulatory compliance and hazard elimination/control. - Assist with development and administration assigned HSE programs including cell risk assessments, confined space, employee right-to-know, electrical safety, environmental compliance, lockout/tagout, machine guarding, waste management, etc. - Provide regulatory training related to HSE programs as assigned. - Facilitate compliance with HSE laws and regulations and other requirements including Level II standards of Honeywell's corporate HSEMS. - Facilitate completion of HSE action items identified by internal audits, risk recognitions, corporate audits, insurance companies and regulatory agencies as required. - Maintain and renew all necessary HSE reports and permits for assigned programs. - Maintain material safety data sheet management system for operations. - Provides HSE support for technology laboratories. - Develop and maintain aspects of site emergency response program Please note: Local candidates only can be considered for this position, no relocation expenses covered Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health and Safety related field. - Minimum 3 years experience with HSE compliance in a manufacturing environment. Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree preferred. - Professional Certification (CHMM, OHST, ASP, CSP, CIH), highly preferred - Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills. - Strong organizational and analytical skills. - Fluent in MS Word, Excel and Power Point applications.
