Job Description:  Honeywell Aerospace is a leading supplier of electronic, mechanical and propulsion systems for a wide range of aircraft including General Aviation (GA), Business, Transport and Military aircraft. Through its Bendix/King Avionics division, Honeywell has been a well-established supplier of avionics and aircraft systems for GA and Light Aircraft since 1959. Effective immediately, Honeywell is investing in the GA Avionics business unit in order to enhance its ability to bring new and innovative products to market for owners and operators of light aircraft and helicopters.

Since this business unit is being created from the current resources of the Honeywell GA Avionics business, the business unit will launch with an established customer base, a solid set of legacy products and an established distribution channel.

Primary Responsibilities:
Working closely with members of the Marcom and Marketing management team, the Manager, Web & Community Marketing will be a web and social network management professional. The incumbent will be responsible for planning and execution of Honeywell’s GA business unit’s global web and social network presence. The work will include all aspects of the web including customer web, dealer portal and business unit intranet as well as presence on Facebook, Twitter and other social networks. The Manager will work in close cooperation with subject matter experts in Product Management, Engineering, Sales, IT and Customer Support to ensure an optimized functionality and a positive brand. The Manager, Trade Shows & Events will manage within a defined budget and specified timeline utilizing both internal execution teams and external agencies in the implementation of the program. He or she will also work with other members of the management team to create plans and budgets for shows and events for the relevant marketing and business plans.


Key responsibilities:
• Evaluate consumer and brand research to re-design the current web and social networking assets.
• Work with internal organizations and external agencies to ensure the timely design and build of the new web assets.
• Create a VOC and other metrics to be applied as feedback mechanism to ensure continual improvement of the web experience.
• On a continual basis, work with product management, channel marketing and other constituencies to create ongoing web and social networking programs to support the business.
• Contribute to the planning of ongoing web and social networking activities in order to build budgets and plans that support the business strategic business plan

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, IT or related field.
• 5 years of web management experience.
Due to export restrictions, this position requires either United States Citizenship or United States Lawful Permanent Resident status to work on Government projects and programs



Additional Qualifications:


• Creative capabilities in the design and management of web and social networking assets.
• Previous experience in managing B2C, B2B, social networking and intranet systems.
• Prior experience working with creative teams and agencies in the design, set up and operation of websites and social networking assets.
• MBA or equivalent.
• Additional consideration will be provided for the candidate who is currently an active or licensed pilot or an aspiring pilot who has completed some pilot training.
