Job Description:  Honeywell Aerospace is a leading supplier of electronic, mechanical and propulsion systems for a wide range of aircraft including General Aviation (GA), Business, Transport and Military aircraft. Through its Bendix/King Avionics division, Honeywell has been a well-established supplier of avionics and aircraft systems for GA and Light Aircraft since 1959. Effective immediately, Honeywell is investing in the GA Avionics business unit in order to enhance its ability to bring new and innovative products to market for owners and operators of light aircraft and helicopters.

Since this business unit is being created from the current resources of the Honeywell GA Avionics business, the business unit will launch with an established customer base, a solid set of legacy products and an established distribution channel.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Senor Manager, Channel Marketing Programs will be an accomplished channel marketing professional who will be responsible creating, launching and measuring marketing campaigns to facilitate the sell through of GA products in the relevant channel.

Working closely with members of Product Management, Sales and Marcom teams as well as with applicable channel and alliance partners, the Senior Manager of Channel Marketing programs will utilize SWOT-based evaluation to create and execute programs that can overcome obstacles and leverage opportunities that result in improved sales. All programs will be measured for their effectiveness in order to ensure efficient use of marketing funds. The Senior Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the channel programs including design and execution of communication, training, measurement and fulfillment processes.

Key responsibilities:
• Work with the Product Management and Sales teams and the channel partner community to analyze the market and identify opportunities to apply channel promotions.
• Create applicable promotional programs including communications, training, fulfillment and measurement mechanisms that will drive increased sales.
• Identify, qualify, contract and manage applicable agencies in the creation of promotional programs.
• Manage within a set budget.
• Report out of promotional plans and results to marketing and business unit leadership.

• Excellent demonstrated communications and writing skills.

Basic Qualifications:


• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
• 7-years experience in marketing, sales or channel management.
• Due to export restrictions, this position requires either U.S. citizenship or United States Lawful Permanent Resident status to work on Government projects and programs.

Additional Qualifications:


• Previous experience in creating and executing channel marketing plans and programs including creating and managing budgets.
• Prior marketing communications experience including experience working with creative teams, advertising and PR agencies.
• Familiarity with a wide range of media including video, web, social networking and print media.
• A solid and successful track record in creating effective promotional campaigns for direct and indirect channels.
• Previous experience in marketing technology to the consumer markets.
• MBA or equivalent.
• Prior sales experience is desirable.
• Additional consideration will be provided for the candidate who is currently an active or licensed pilot or an aspiring pilot who has completed some pilot training.
