We have an immediate opportunity for a Materials Analyst Assistant at our DesPlaines, Illinois facility !!!

Responsibilities:
- Support Equipment Materials Management and project execution staff by managing materials flow for purchased goods and services for sold projects for headquarters and global sites in the following manner:
- Technical Data Entry: Edit and proof read detailed line-item requisitions into SAP for Materials Analyst or create new requisition as requested from group as workload overflow.
- Status Tracking: Run monthly SAP reports for Materials Management and help coordinate with procurement personnel, expeditors, engineers of record, and Project Managers to verify that PO delivery dates within SAP are accurate.
Logistics Interface:
- Be the focal contact for Materials Management and process all requested freight invoices.
- Coordinate with project execution staff, procurement personnel, logistics, and compliance experts to make sure proper documentation is complete and available in order to insure timely delivery of purchased materials to fabricators.
- Goods Receipt: Enter goods receipts within SAP to verify satisfactory receipt of goods from suppliers according to purchase order requirements upon request.
- Invoice Resolution Coordination: Coordinate with project management personnel, engineers of record, procurement, and accounts payable to resolve supplier invoice issues to ensure timely payment upon request.
- Project System Reporting: Run all forecast reports in preparation for monthly review meetings, monthly revenue reports, distribution of hours reports for all product lines that Materials Management supports.
- Understand and interpret UOP Equipment agreements and Project Execution Plan with the ability to identify milestone payments, placement of equipment orders, subcontractor orders, & UOP staffing plan for accurate entry in SAP Project Systems module as progression toward Materials Analyst role.
- Be back up support and assistant for monthly project review meetings and work with equipment management, financial analysts, & project accountants to insure accurate equipment forecasting, cost accruals, and revenue recognition.
- Understand basic functionality of Project Systems, SAP Project reports, and Materials Management modules.
Basic Qualifications:
· High School Graduate or GED
· 1 year SAP or Equivalent system-wide application experience.
· 3 years MSProject or equivalent Project program
· 3 years MS OFFICE experience including EXCEL spreadsheet and pivot table
competence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two plus years college preferred.
- Experience with SAP Material Management, Project Systems and/or Material Master Modules.
- Self starter with strong oral written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team based environment.
- Experience with equipment projects is considered a plus.
