Distribution Technician Job Details

We have an immediate opening for a Distribution Technician within our Catalyst Business at our Shreveport, Louisiana site!!!

UOP, a Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies Company, is a global leader of process technology, products, engineered systems and technical services to the petroleum refining, petrochemical, gas processing and energy industries and is a leader in the R & D of petroleum and petrochemical processing.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Unloads railcars and tanker trucks and operates Trackmobile for placement of railcars.
  
• Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility, utilizing forklifts, hand trucks, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within the storage facility
  
• Prepping and packaging final product for shipment.
  
• Bagging and bottling product for production.
  
• Relies on instructions and pre-established standard operating procedure to perform the functions of the job.
  
• Able to work in all weather conditions (Heat, cold, rain, snow, etc)
  
• Able to continuously bend, kneel, twist, reach and climb
  
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
  
• 3 years experience in warehouse/manufacturing environment or a Honeywell contingent worker.
  
• 1 year computer experience - Microsoft Office and math skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift Certified
  
• Strong written and documentation skills
  
• Detail Oriented
  
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
