We have an immediate career opportunity for a Maintenance Mechanic at our Shreveport, LA facility!!

The Maintenance Mechanic's primary responsibility is to execute maintenance tasks safely, efficiently, and effectively. He or she should have very good trouble shooting skills and work independently to solve problems, yet function well in a team environment.




  • Repair and install rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, blowers, gear boxes and mixers.

  • Expertise working with precision tools, such as vernier calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and optical and laser alignment tooling.

  • Identify and use hand tools and power tools safely.

  • Inspects and evaluates equipment and equipment performance.

  • Will use logical step-by-step procedures in work; planning, solving problems and decision-making using simple root cause analysis.

  • Performs tasks associated with test, inspection, and repair of equipment including taking apart and reassembling components after repairing or replacing parts.

  • Verifies equipment, or areas, are safe for normal use, hazardous work, servicing, or maintenance.

  • Documents and records maintenance information in SAP.

  • Ability to work 12 hour rotating shifts to support a 24/7 operation


Basic Qualifications:




  • High School Diploma

  • 4 years of maintenance experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment or 2 year technical degree.

  • Must be a US Citizen for Government Aerospace contracts.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • 5 years maintenance in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment

  • 2 year technical degree

  • Safety minded and conscience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Precision Maintenance Skills
