Job Description:

We are a leading global aviation supplier designing, manufacturing, and distributing advanced electronic systems, products, and services to commercial, defense and space industries.


Responsibilities:



  • Perform System and Board level Testing.
  • Perform Automated System Level Testing by following detailed written procedures and on the job experience on multiple segments. 70% of Time
  • Document system level Events and failures accurately in the data book and e-factory. 10% of Time
  • Update and maintain e-factory status of units in segment 10% of Time
  • Product knowledge that helps with ability to conduct medium level troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work across and test multiple products. 10% of Time
  • Assignments are varied and require a moderate level of judgment. Participate in some decision-making.
  • Varied tasks are performed and completed by following test work instructions and applying Honeywell policies and procedures.
  • Ability to distinguish between system, station and software events/issues.
  • Comply with detailed instructions on all work. Works autonomously 25% of the time.
  • Interacts with other Test Team members and Engineering Support.


Basic Qualifications:



  • Due to Government regulations, must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Military or Electronic technical degree

  • 5 years of test technician experience.


Additional Qualifications:



  • Have an understanding of electronics and proficient use of general purpose test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multi-meters.

  • Ability to read schematics, follows written procedures, and applies computer skills and technical knowledge to competently troubleshoot and resolve technical problems. In Circuit Test (ICT) experience a plus.

  • Must work well within a team environment.

  • Navigation equipment experience and knowledge of environmental screening (Halt — Haas chamber) is a plus.
