Sensing and Control (S&C) is a strategic business unit in Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). S&C is one of the world's leading suppliers of sensors, switches, machine safeguarding and other devices for a variety of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) applications in the aerospace, medical, transportation, industrial, and test and measurement sectors.



We are hiring a Manufacturing Equipment Technician III for our Richardson, TX facility. This shift is a 3 and 4 compressed work schedule from 7 AM to 7:15 PM.



Job Duties:




  • Repair and Maintenance of a variety of Wafer Fabrication Equipment.

  • The major emphasis for this position will be in the metal working on Endura and MRC sputter equipment along with Vecco Ion Mill and NIckel Iron Deposition.

  • Additional experience in photo, vacuum and plasma areas to include Novellus C-1, Lam etchers, Perkin-Elmer, MRC, Temescal, Strasbaugh grinders, Varian and CHA Evaporators, thermo furnaces and various other equipment associated with wafer fabrication is a plus.


Basic Qualifications:



  • Associate’s degree in electronics, or in lieu of education, 5 years directly related experience.

  • 3 years experience in repair and maintenance of wafer fabrication metal sputtering equipment.

Additional Qualifications:



  • Experience in the repair and maintenance in the front and backend processes of the wafer fabrication is a plus.

  • Self-starter.

  • Ability to be flexible with duties.

  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.

  • Be able to work with all levels of employees.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.
