We are hiring an Auto Assembler for our Smithfield, RI facility. This shift is Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.



Job Duties:




  • The primary function of the Lanco Automation Department or Auto Pack area is to produce quality eyewear products for safety applications all while maintaining safe working conditions.
  • The Lanco Automation Department is the major area in which products are produced.
  • The highly effective automation is an integral component of the company’s success.
  • Operator has to be cognizant of the overall operation of the specific Lanco that she/he is trained to run.
  • Operator is constantly monitoring various stations to ensure the efficient output of the machines are realized.
  • Ability to understand and meet production & quality standards.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. is required.
  • Ability to read and process work orders.


Basic Qualification:




  • 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  • High School diploma or GED.


Additional Qualification:




  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment is a plus.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Able to work with a sense of urgency and speed is preferred.

  • Ability to read and write in English.

  • Ability work with PLC operations.
