Process Engineer Job Details

We have an immediate opening for a Process Engineer within our Catalyst Business at our Shreveport, Louisiana site!!!

UOP, a Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies Company, is a global leader of process technology, products, engineered systems and technical services to the petroleum refining, petrochemical, gas processing and energy industries and is a leader in the R & D of petroleum and petrochemical processing.

• Participate in tiered accountability meetings with line supervisor.


• Support and promote the successful application of Honeywell Operating System (HOS) principles.


• Provide the line supervisor with technical recommendations on the process.


• Support the line supervisor in the efficient operation of the production line.


• Troubleshoot process and equipment related problems.


• Interpret the health of the production system using PI and other data collection processes.


• Create blends, enters MOC requests, review environmental data for process limitations.


• Review and revise product recipes within the guidelines provided by product development.


• Monitoring improvement tracking system (ITS) and provide constructive feedback on ideas.


• Perform root cause analysis of high impact process and quality related issues.


• Create and close out process orders in SAP. Provide product cost data for the annual operating plan (AOP).

Basic Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering


• 3 years experience with Microsoft Office products
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering


• Strong professional communication skills


• Ability to resolve conflict in a professional manner


• Ability to effect change through partnerships and influence
