The Site Leader for HSP Fall Protection facility in Franklin, PA - home of the Miller Brand of Fall Protection (www.millerfallprotection.com) is responsible for leading all integrated supply chain activities, inclusive of manufacturing, materials management, HS&E (Heath, Safety and Environmental) quality and delivery. Key accountable metrics include delivery/OTTR, cost control, productivity, cycle time, inventory days of supply, implementation of HOS (Honeywell's Lean Operating System), employee satisfaction and the implementation of all other initiatives to align with ISC business goals. Developing short and long range plans to assure availability of resources in accordance with the changing business environment.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Managing a site of 250 employees including managers (direct and indirect supervision). • Develop and articulate a clear vision, mission and value proposition for the site. • Partner with all functions (ISC and non-ISC) to ensure customer and business demands are met. • Develop and execute the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). • Identify and implement best practices within the areas of cost, demand management, planning/scheduling, and cycle time reduction. • Implement cost improvement strategies (direct & indirect) and deliver quarterly improvements. • Actively coach, develop and provide performance feedback / actions to ISC employees. • Acts as a Change Agent - influence, consult, and lead efforts for sharing and standardizing of best practices and processes. • Demonstrate a global mind set when creating business and customer solutions. • Labor Relations and Positive Employee relations. • Work as a team with the site to develop innovative solutions and continuous improvement through HOS methodology. • Proven Leadership experience within various Integrated Supply Chain functions. • Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and drive process excellence. • Driver for results - insists on excellence in all fields. • Ability to drive and execute major change initiatives. • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships (external / internal). • Excellent verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills • In-depth knowledge of the business, processes, practices and key markets and customers. • Ability to lead and develop effective teams.
Basic Qualifications:
• BA/BS in Engineering, Operations Management, or other technical integrated supply chain discipline • 3 years of Lean Manufacturing or 6-Sigma problem solving skills. • 2 years experience being responsible for a budget • 2 years of experience overseeing responsibilities of 100 people.
Additional Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Engineering. • MBA. • Experience in operations, manufacturing, multi-site plant leadership. • Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering degree. • Highly motivated and self-directed. • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. • Ability to communicate within all levels of the organization.
