Job Description:	Coordinates, and performs carpentry jobs involved in the construction and design of boxes, crates, skids, fittings, panels, partitions, and other wood or wood substitutes products or packaging. Develops drawings and models, makes computations relating to dimensions of work, selection of materials, tools (including portable power tools) to accomplish tasks as required. May give direction and training to other personnel. Performs other tasks as assigned. BASIC REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate or equivalent. Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship. In lieu of a formal apprenticeship program, a combination of on-the-job training and experience may be considered Six years directly related work experience. U.S. Citizen. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Complete the Basic Combat Engineers Course, or equivalent. Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.
