Machine Operator II-Third Shift Job Details

We are hiring a Machine Operator II-Third Shift for our Bolingbrook, IL facility. The hours for this third shift position are 10:30 PM to 7 AM.

Job Duties:

• Inspect / document tooling condition prior to running.


• Log into ERP system.


• Operate all Injection Presses.


• Operate all Compression Presses.


• Understand ASTM standard on all governed molded products.


• Operate all rubber goods testing equipment according to applicable ASTM standard.


• Fill out daily control chart / update Visual Management work cell score board.


• Systemically transfer goods from one step to another in ERP system.


• Operate to control parameters / stop job if process goes bad.


• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or group lead.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED, or in lieu of, 3 years experience in the Chicago/Skokie plant.


• 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Qualifications:

• Basic computer skills are a plus.


• Ability to read manufacturing specifications and drawings.


• Ability to work as part of a team.


• Excellent performance and attendance record is preferred.


• Fast learner.


• Ability to be cross trained in all production equipment is preferred.


• Forklift license or certification is a plus.
