Job Description: 
Honeywell Aerospace is a $10 B SBG (Strategic Business Group) with 40,000 employees in over 125 domestic and international locations. We are a leading global aviation supplier designing, manufacturing and distributing advanced electronic systems, products and services to commercial, defense and space industries.


Responsibilities include:

Pentetrant/Magnetic particle Inspection Postion reporting to Operations for Honeywell Mechanical Operating Center, located in South Bend, In.

This site manufactures aircraft wheel and brake componets for multiple applications.

Responsibilities include:

Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.

Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects using, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, and other nondestructive testing methods.

Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results

Organize and report test results.

Perform inspections only when the proper facilities, equipment, material, and technical publications are available.

Report results of test following procedureal instructions and site Quality Management system. Generate defective material reports as required.

Basic Qualifications:

HS Diploma or equivalent

Must have documented NDT Certification in at least one of the following skills; Pentetrant and or Magnetic-Partical inspeciton. All training records must be provided, showing formal training hours.

Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience desired.

Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident for Export Requirements.



Additional Qualifications:



Strong computer skills.

Knowledge of SPC, Kiazen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Foreign Object Damage (FOD), and general manufacturing processes/flows principles, tools, and techniques.

Ability to follow HS&E requirements as related to specific job functions and general shop functions.

Ability to maintain 5s and FOD compliance in work areas.

Must be capable to lift 35lbs. Must be capable of passing fork truck certification
