AT&T Mergers & Acquisitions / Corporate Development is comprised of a small team of professionals responsible to analyze, negotiate and execute all M&A transactions, divestitures and strategic investments for AT&T. The primary responsibility of the Intern position is financial modeling. All models are developed internally, so understanding the drivers of the business as well as the mechanics of building a comprehensive model with detailed financial statements is a crucial first step in the M&A group. The M&A group is very demanding and rewarding. In addition to being highly motivated, you must be willing to work long, unpredictable hours, be flexible in your work schedule, and be willing to travel. Key responsibilities include:
