Sr QC/Test Analyst* Job Details

Synopsis: This position is for an integration and test engineer working in an agile software development and engineering

environment. Qualified candidates are required to design, develop, execute, testing on an Agile based integration and

system test project applied to testing a variety of innovative hardware and software solutions, used to protect IP network

environments from potential security threats, and integrated with commercially available hardware and software tools.

The candidate must show knowledge and experience planning and developing test plans, test cases, and test procedures

with a focus on preparing system solutions for deployment and field use. The candidate must also demonstrate handson

experience executing system and integration test procedures. Qualified candidates should possess experience

developing scripts in a variety of scripting languages for test automation.

Required skills / experience: 3 to 5 years of varied work experience in software integration/system test working in

team environments; Working knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools, software integration and CM

methodologies and processes required for rapid integration, and deployment of hardware and software solutions in field

environments. Demonstrable understanding and experience with integration and system testing techniques and skills,

CM and change management practices. Good troubleshooting skills with the ability to understand how to setup and

run application software on Linux-based (or Unix or Solaris) platforms. Demonstrated experience in developing and/or

setting up tests or testbeds. A general understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP) is required. Proven ability to take on

and meet commitments and adapt to rapidly changing requirements as well as good interpersonal and communication

skills are required.

Desired skills: Ability to develop integration test, system test, and deployment scripts using scripting languages such as

PERL, PHP, RUBY, UNIX command shells, MS command scripts, and others. Ability to develop test plans, test cases,

and test procedures and implement them. Knowledge and experience using a variety of assorted scripting languages on

Microsoft OS or LINUX OS development environments.

Required Education: BS degree preferred in Computer Science or related discipline but not required; BA degree in a

Liberal Arts program acceptable provided there is evidence of abilities commensurate with required skills and experience

listed above.
