We’re looking for people who understand the nuances of mobile technology and why it’s so much more than a simplified web page that fits on your smartphone. You live and breathe mobile applications and how companies use them to be more competitive, efficient, and closer to their customers. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, our software partners, and our developers to define, design, and create the best mobile apps for B2E, B2B, and B2C applications. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience developing mobile user experiences and system architectures that meet best practices and push the bounds of innovation. A strong knowledge of application development tools, platforms and technologies will prove your ability to know the rules and how to break them to completely redefine the conventional user experience and create great applications. Critical and subjective thinking, initiative to improve both product and process, along with an ability to work within, and lead a team are essential. Your Background: 1. You have a keen eye for recognizing qualified opportunities in mobile applications, you know the technology and vendor landscape like the back of your hand and you can deliver a compelling pitch for mobility. 2. Comfortable presenting in the boardroom to CxOs as well as on the shop floor talking to end-users 3. You work well with client stakeholders like IT, Marketing, business line owners, and end-users to help them understand the needs and requirements of their mobile application 4. You understand the difference between mark-up and margin, and you understand how to make customers pay for value that you helped create 5. You are recognized as a thought-leader and “go-to-guy” for technical insights 6. As a technical evangelist, you can manage, prepare, and deliver compelling solution proposals that clearly articulate value to the customer and persuade them to act. Your Role: - Provide technical pre-sales and post sales support for prospective and existing customers - Articulate our value proposition, present services information and build value throughout the sales process - Develop detailed business, functional, and technical requirements, including use cases, and wireframes to communicate with software partners, developers, business analysts, customers, end-users, and other stakeholders to develop strategies and specifications to create/improve the performance, usability and effectiveness of mobile software applications. - Lead customer definition and discussions on integration of an application to their back-end or other third party systems of record. - Engage customer and assess the impact of device, application, and data security requirements on their solution design. - Work across functions to solve design challenges; seeking input from clients, developers, and technology partners when presented with interesting challenges. - Develop documentation and output required to support the development process, including but not limited to mockups and as well as detailed system architectures that accurately depict required solution components and transport protocols and interfaces. - Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing on both business and technical topics. - Contribute to sales process improvements, including developing knowledge database, creating sales tools and mentoring other sales engineers. Job Requirements: - 5-10 years technical experience in an IT support-related role - 3-5 years experience creating visual designs, user experiences, and user interfaces for mobile applications and services for Android, iOS, BlackBerry, Windows Phone and other smartphone devices. - Direct experience with designing and deploying mobile web and native mobile applications for B2E, B2B, and B2C customers - Understanding and command of SDLC methodologies used to design, develop, test, and deploy applications - Application of accepted human interface guidelines and best practices to develop use cases, mock-up screens, and wireframes - Design and document mobile application and infrastructure architectures - Critical and subjective thinking, initiative to improve both product and process, and an ability to work within, and lead a team - Experience creating customer proposals and Statements of Work - Familiarity with IDE and SDK tools layout, design and usability (e.g., Eclipse, Xcode, iOS SDK, Android SDK) - Knowledge of development languages and technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Objective-C, Ruby, Python, Webkit, Canvas) as well as frameworks (jQuery, Sencha, JQTouch) - Familiarity with back-end technologies (PHP, .NET, MySQL, SQL), mobile technologies (Mobify, PhoneGap), and mobile platforms (KONY, Antenna, Pyxis, SAP-Sybase ) - Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to translate complex user needs into simple, elegant designs that scale across platforms - Expert level skills with MS Visio, MS Office tools and wireframe tools like Justinmind Required Qualifications - Job requires full Mastery in the following skills:
