Working as a Senior Technical Architect you will be responsible for providing eBusiness consulting services to AT&T customers. This includes developing IT solutions to business problems built on AT&T's custom J2EE methodologies, migration or upgrades of customer applications to AT&T certified product offerings, providing leadership and direction to complex eBusiness/eCommerce customers. Having demonstrated expertise and unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires deep knowledge and an evaluation of intangibles. Performs complex and innovative systems architecture, systems/technology research, modeling, consulting and project management activities leveraging new/emerging/future services, technologies and platforms. Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. May supervise the activities of others. To be successful, you must be proficient at the techniques that go into the formulation of the architectures, including:
Strong initiative and communication skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships are keys to success; you must know how to mediate opposing viewpoints and negotiate equitable solutions to ensure successful and stable outcomes. You will use your practical skills and experience across many application and infrastructure (operational) products, technologies, and services. Individuals who have gathered requirements, designed, implemented and supported enterprise-caliber greenfield applicants, strongly preferred. Additional Responsibilities:
