Job Description: 




Ideal candidate loves to work with numbers, excel and data. The role is essential in guiding various departments in analyzing data to monitor the health of the eCommerce business, identify business trends and aid in making strategic decisions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


  • Gathers, consolidates, links and analyzes data/metrics from multiple sources such as site analytics, customer sat, order flows, back-offices, submitted sales and posted sales and revenue. Identifies data issues and drives for resolution with data owners.

  • Work with eCommerce Wireless organization, EDO and marketing to identify opportunities to improve customer experience online and on mobile devices from sales and revenue perspective which can help improve customer satisfaction

  • Identifies out of trend results and highlights and publishes key performance metrics in a consistent manner with a focus on accuracy

  • Directly responsible for supporting business needs from metrics need standpoint and working with responsible parties to deliver results

  • Works with members outside of eCommerce organization to develop consistency and accuracy in reporting

  • Collaborate with delivery team to improve data collection and web-based tracking

  • Assist Marketing and business units in establishing testing procedures and benchmarks for A/B testing, site upgrades, feature development, and redesigns

  • Facilitates results review meetings with Senior leaders, Directors and managers to analyze results and action planning

  • Provides management oversight to employees and contractors








Key required attributes and qualifications:


  • Reliable, "go to" type personality, Results oriented, accepting responsibility with Get it done attitude, Follow-up on any outstanding issues or action items without supervision, shows initiative and creativity, Great work ethic and Team player

  • 3-4 years experience and strong technical expertise with tools such as Excel, SQL, Teradata, Oracle, Omniture, Google analytics, WebTrends, Business Objects, SAS, SPSS

  • Strong skills in writing SQL queries and building Excel models

  • 2-3 years experience in leading teams, managing people and facilitating meetings with senior leaders

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to publicly present ideas and share information

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management and summarize facts and data

  • College Degree required


Preferred Qualifications


  • Prior wireless experience, knowledge of Mercury, feature revenue, upgrades etc preferred

  • Knowledge of Customer care function, troubleshooting

  • Masters level /Graduate degree in IT/Computer Science/Marketing/eCommerce
