Job Description: Candidate must have the desire to work in a fast paced, technology driven environment. Candidate must also be able to operate in a highly visible MNRC performing multiple functions to include, surveillance, recognizing and responding to network problems, performing triage, KPI analysis and maintenance of the Network, while working in a coordinated effort with other teams/organizations such as NRC, ATS, CRE and NP&E. Required Qualifications: • 2 years experience in the wireless industry • Advanced technical knowledge of voice and data products, systems and applications to include the following: IP Routing, Routing Protocols including OSPF and MPLS, ATM and Frame Relay transport, IMA, MSN, RNC and SIAD. Experience with UNIX based platforms and applications • Strong organizational skills, must be action oriented, result driven and can work with minimal direction • Attention to detail is important • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite applications and have strong written and verbal communication skills • Must be willing to work Day, Evening or Night Shift depending on needs of the business Desired Qualifications: • Vendor technical certification in support of RAN and switching platforms • CCNA
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS WHICH MAY BE REQUIRED FOR A PARTICULAR JOB: 1. Maintains MSC/RNOC operations with general supervision. 2. Performs and records maintenance procedures for all MSC and cellular system infrastructure. 3. Performs installation and growth procedures as required with general supervision. 4. Assists local telephone vendors for installation, testing, and maintenance of telephone facilities. 5. Responds immediately to actual or potential service interruptions as required. 6. Works with other team members, departments, and vendors as needed to ensure that all work efforts are done in a timely and efficient manner. 7. May perform switch maintenance and software upgrades. 8. May perform translations, use computer inputs to create, modify, and / or correct database contents, i.e. MSC and associated equipment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to distinguish between colors, read printed material, lift/carry 60 pounds, climb stairs/ladders, must be able to kneel, stoop, crouch, or work in other uncomfortable positions to accomplish tasks. Must have good hand/eye coordination and be able to work with hand tools.

SPECIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Must be willing to work day, evening or night hours; overtime, emergency call-outs, weekends and holidays as required. Must assume 24-hour on-call duty when assigned, and applicable. • High School education or equivalent. • Two (2) years related technical training or equivalent experience. • May require valid state driver's license, or CDL, whichever is applicable, and satisfactory driving record check. • May be required to be away from home location for extended periods of time.
