Job Description: 
AT&T Ad Works is rapidly growing in expectation of becoming AT&T's next billion dollar business. We are looking for strong industry veterans who revel in the prospect of building a better approach to advertising sales that utilizes the inherent strengths of the world's largest telecommunications company. AT&T Ad Works is the face to the market for AT&T's newest ad products across IPTV, Mobile, and Internet.



RESPONSIBILITIES: The Director, Television Product Marketing will play a key role in bringing to market innovative advertising products across AT&T’s U-verse IPTV platform. This individual will be responsible for pricing models, packaging, and positioning the products to come out of the Product Development and Management Teams, transforming A&T AdWorks into a multi-billion dollar media solutions provider.


The individual must be a top notch communicator with fine detail orientation and organizational skills. Team building and problem solving skills are critical, as is a thorough understanding of the television and advertising industries. The ability to forge cross-functional relationships within the AdWorks team and throughout the television industry is critical, as is the skill to leverage those relationships to ensure results. The candidate should aspire to be part of the future of digital television, and want to grow AdWorks into an industry leader and interactive innovator.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market (focus on interactive television and audience retargeting capabilities)

  • Product launch – plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan, including managing and communicating product timelines

  • Market intelligence – be the expert on our buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them

  • Demand generation – develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for our products

  • Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process (including case studies, training, collateral, and sales materials)

The successful candidate will be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial atmosphere, while also being effective within the matrix structure of a Fortune 100 environment. This individual will have a history of being an impact player and is comfortable taking personal ownership in the performance of his/her projects. Experience in television and digital media required.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 7-10 years of professional experience in product marketing. Outstanding presentation and communication skills via written and verbal delivery. Strong attention to details. Significant experience in managing cross-functional efforts and ability to succeed in cross functional team environment. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Excellent PC skills with a focus on MS Project, Powerpoint, Excel and Word.
