Job Description: 

The AdWorks media unit within at AT&T connects advertisers with 100 million AT&T customers across the mobile, broadband, IPTV and local search platforms of the world's largest telecommunications company. Within our Audience Development group, we are seeking to fill a high profile and critical position. The Associate Director of Audience Development will help enrich our understanding of the information gathered across our product offerings and improve our ability to monetize this data.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


Responsibilities


Partner: expand on monetization of research intelligence by managing and expanding partnerships with data providers and aggregators who monetize consumer data.


Collaboration and Evangelization:


  • Collaboration with the product marketing and development teams to integrate new sources into the existing ad platform and targeting database architecture and test their effectiveness.

  • Collarborate with product marketing and training to update sales on targeting capabilities

  • Collaborate with sales, ad operations and development teams on the creation of custom audiences.

  • Collaborate with product and development teams on the creation of new reports that incorporate internally developed research intelligence into post-campaign analysis to help agency partners educate their clients and encourage repeat purchases.

  • Provide education and leadership to sales on how best to sell true audience segments (as opposed to traditional methods of selling content/sites/publishers that skew toward audience segments).



Requirements

• BA/BS or equivalent experience required, MBA strongly preferred

• Minimum of 5 years in media sales, business development or product development

• Proven ability to effectively lead and manage projects and large teams in a cross-functional environment without direct lines of authority

• Highly detail, proactive and execution oriented, able to consistently deliver on expectations

• Strategic thinking, solid organizational skills and the ability to troubleshoot and provide successful resolution

• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment that is developing and growing quickly

• An ease and expertise at interfacing with senior management both internally and at the client level

• Exceptional oral and written skills

• Certified sense of humor!!
