Job Description: 
AT&T AdWorks is rapidly growing in expectation of becoming AT&T’s next billion dollar business. We are looking for industry veterans who revel in the prospect of building a better approach to advertising sales that utilizes the inherent strengths of the world’s largest telecommunications company. AT&T AdWorks is the face to the market for AT&T’s newest ad products across IPTV, Mobile, and Internet.


Within the Sales Operations group, we are seeking to fill a high profile and critical position. The Associate Director of Online Ad Operations will manage a team of client ad operations staff for our mobile ad products. This team handles everything from pre-sales media planning to post sales optimization and reporting.



Related to Ad Operations, this position will:


  • Manage all online ad operations including; proposals, pricing yield management, contract and order management, ad campaign implementation, optimization, inventory issue resolution, and campaign reporting.

  • Implement and manage the processes that reduce operating costs while gaining revenue and improving speed and efficiency.

  • Establish best practices and procedures for maintaining high industry standards of fulfillment, product quality, reliability, and accuracy.

  • Improve the measurement of team and individual performance against objectives and operational metrics.

  • Promote company-wide quality and service improvement efforts and lead productivity, quality and process requirements in accordance with real company needs.

  • Manage the hiring of internal ad operations staffing as well as 3rd party outsourced technology and staffing.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage ad operations, trafficking, optimization and campaign execution through both internal resources as well as 3rd party partners

  • Set up and traffic all advertiser campaigns using a proprietary platform

  • Consult on ACM system enhancements

  • Provide support and direction to the account management group as they work with the sales team to maintain the campaigns.

  • Pioneer 100% compliance with industry and corporate privacy policies

  • Traffic campaigns across a network of owned and partner inventory

  • Provide avails to planning, account management and ad sales

  • Meet advertiser objectives by ensuring the team is using best placements, flight plans, campaign optimizations and using adequate third-party serving platforms

  • Provide regular reporting to senior management, advertisers, account managers and other internal customers

  • Implement ideal tagging solutions on owned and partner sites to enable strong targeting, segmentation and profitability

  • Develop best practices for account management
Requirements:


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in client services and/or ad operations

  • Outstanding knowledge of trafficking campaigns in display, video and other formats across multiple platforms

  • Analytical mindset and strong financial understanding

  • Experience working at a larger publisher or ad network

  • Customer-first mentality and ability to serve advertisers with differing goals

  • Good technical understanding of ad serving, tagging, site architecture, rich media, etc.

  • Team player who isn't afraid to roll up his sleeves and be both player and coach

  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment that is developing and growing quickly

  • Interactive experience and/or agency experience is preferred

  • Superior client service skills

  • Interactive agency or client side experience strongly preferred

  • Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing and persuasively present to a wide variety of audiences

  • Strong organization and project management skills
