AT&T Territory Manager 3 is a responsible for providing strategic solutions in partnership with

the Solution Provider organization responsible for the sales and distribution to approximately 500 Premier Client Group accounts billing approximately 15M annually.

The Territory Manager is an industry expert in selling application services and solutions.


Roles and responsibilities of the AT&T Territory manager include but not limited to the following:


· Identify key industry trends that drive marketing initiatives, generate demands and drive technology solutions within the client base to achieve the revenue growth and NSR goals of the organization.

· Manage all levers of AT&T financial goals including AR, Retention and SAART

· Deliver technical solutions that meet a wide variety of customer technology and financial needs Incorporate executive summary, Return on Investment (ROI) analysis and solutions design to develop customer-specific proposals and presentations


  • Effectively partners with internal/external clients and organizations as needed

  • Prepare proposals, presentations, bids and develop strategic plans

  • Develops new accounts and maintains current accounts

  • Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's entire product line; may have more in-depth knowledge on a subset of products or services

  • Demonstrates sustained record of sales achievement

  • Distinguished by additional specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth, as well as record of success in sales and industry expert

  • Provide expertise in the field, is subject matter expert and assigned to large, complex, highly visible, strategic, or tactically important accounts

  • Influences customers and diffuses potential problems

  • Anticipates the customer's needs and identifies appropriate alternatives

  • Builds and maintains network of colleagues and customers to share information and obtain prospects

  • May receive direction from others for consultative purposes

  • Directs and prioritizes own work and possible work of others

Required skills and experience:


· 8 or more years of relevant sales experience

· Experience Selling into Large F1000 Accounts

· 3 or more years of Experience selling Application Services - Hosting, Cloud Computing, Unified Communications, IP based services, MPLS, and management solutions providers and agents

· Experience selling wireline voice and data and wireless mobility applications and solutions

· Skilled in executive positioning

· Consultative sales expertise

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Must pass required sales and data assessments

· Valid driver license



Desired skills and experience:


  • 10 or more years of relevant work experience in Telecommunication Industry

  • Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or MIS is preferred

  • MBA
