Package Analyst Job Details

• Guide responsibilities for supplier management and component sample coordination.  Duties include but not limited to:
  
  
  
  
  • Contact suppliers for samples needed for line trials, R&D testing, Marketing and PR
  
  
  • Request price breaks on necessary components as required ensuring complete transparency amongst team partners
  
  
  • Pro-actively manage events to ensure components on time delivery
  
  
  
  


• Facilitate specification, artwork and color approval process.  Duties include but not limited to:
  
  
  
  
  • Routing artwork to suppliers.  Also, supplying component codes, UPC number, pre-final specification, color direction, manufacturing location and a final date for artwork to be issued to the supplier.       
  
  
  • Traffick related color submissions and color target materials between suppliers and internal partners                
  
  
  • Provide approvals or directional comments to each Supplier to ensure achievement of design direction and color matching of linked components (e.g. bottle and cap)
  
  
  
  


• RPVE issuance.  Duties include but not limited to:
  
  
  
  
  • Receive notification from the Package Engineer that the Profile and the GPak Specification is ready to post
  
  
  • Complete and input required RPVE data into Share point including COI, Cost due date and manufacturing site
  
  
  • Create Alert Notification to GNPE&D, Estimating, Sourcing, Planning and Product Cost
  
  
  • Ensure revisions are issued and actioned
  
  
  
  


• Additional duties to include involvement with first production samples, managing and maintaining component production standards and general engineering assistance as needed.

*Packaging experience in consumer products (multi-national organization preferred)

*Competitive intelligence regarding category / commercial packaging and costing.

*Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse cultures and global colleagues
