Job Description:  Avon, the company for women, is a leading global beauty company, with over $10 billion in annual revenue. The TPM Coordinator plays a vital role in releasing and expediting the proper level of finished ingredients and/or components to support the Finished Goods Planner's capacity plan and the TPM's weekly production plan.  The TPM Coordinator is responsible for driving the production process with the supplier and is accountable for keeping all data in the system accurate, including finished ingredient and finished good inventory. This position requires effective coordination with the Finished Goods Planner, Avon Manufacturing locations, Deployment, Logistics, Sourcing, Suppliers, and Finance.

 

Responsibilities:

*Coordinate and expedite raw material and/or Component deliveries.

*Ensure suppliers are producing on-time and in full.

*Maintain data integrity in related Supply Chain systems (E1/Manugistics)

*Action work order completions.

*Report and maintain material inventory targets.

*Develops vendor-scheduling report.

*Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain related field preferred

 

Qualifications and experience



  • One year experience with MRP II system


  • Must have a thorough understanding of all policies and procedures relative to purchasing and inventory control.  APICS and CPM certification is a plus.

  • Must possess knowledge of MRP II concepts and ERP system functionality.

  • Must be detail oriented and yet comprehend which issues to prioritize and which details to monitor.

  • Must be able to work at a fast pace in a rapidly changing business environment.

  • Must display the ability to address issues at a senior management level.

  • Must constantly look for ways to improve a process in order to reduce lead-time and eliminate non-value-added activities.

  • Must set a priority on customer satisfaction and a sense of urgency.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to effectively function within diversified teams.
