This position is HR Manager for the Aftermarket Services Mechanical Service Line, a $1.7B business with more than 1800 employees worldwide. This position will be based in Allentown and will have regular travel to the remaining three locations:



  • Allentown, PA

  • Houston, TX

  • Kingman, AZ

  • Memphis, TN



The HR Manager, in this role, will serve as the HR Leader in support of the Mechanical Wheel and Brakes organization (total Wheel and Brake employee population of approximately 200.) He/she will support the Wheel and Brakes Operations Director, based in Allentown, PA, and act as the central focal point for all Wheel and Brakes HR activity. This includes direct HR support for the Wheel and Brake locations in Kingman, Arizona; Memphis, TN; Houston, TX; and Allentown, PA. This position will report to the Human Resource Director of the Mechanical Service Line.


This position will provide a broad range of HR support actions for achieving business objectives to include talent management (assessment, acquisition, development and redeployment), organization effectiveness (change management, leader effectiveness, organization design), and employee engagement (communications, employee relations, facilitation of rewards and recognition, employee involvement). Position involves facilitating solutions to employee and leadership issues; developing and implementing HR strategy, policies and processes; and proactive development and coaching of leaders.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Drive and deploy procedures and policies in all areas involving HR systems.

  • Responsible for organization assessment and upgrading the talent through strategic staffing and developing pipeline talent.

  • Drive a culture of performance, results and positive employee relations.

  • Demonstrate Honeywell core values and foster Six Sigma and Learning initiatives

  • Ensure a systemic and integrated approach to Human Resource solutions.

  • Partner with senior AMS Leadership in achieving organizational goals.

  • Foster atmosphere of teamwork and development within HR team.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and promote the linkage between aftermarket business and human resources activities

  • Demonstrated analytical skills

  • Strong bias for action and keen sense of urgency

  • Demonstrated ability to positively influence others

  • Ability to deal tactfully and confidently with internal and external customers

  • Strong written/verbal communication skills

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations

  • Demonstrated usage of change management techniques in a business setting

  • Strong organizational re-design capabilities

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree required in business administration, human resources or technical field

  • Minimum 3 years professional HR experience


Additional Qualifications:


  • Master's degree preferred, with a concentration in Human Resources, Organization Development, or Training

  • Global HR experience desired.

  • Prior experience in hourly workforce management

  • Proficiency in a Microsoft Office tools

  • Must be willing to travel up to 75%
