ARE YOU A PRODUCT MANAGER READY FOR AN EXCITING CHALLENGE????? THEN WE HAVE A POSITION FOR YOU!!! We're seeking a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) - Footwear in our Smithfield, RI location. The product marketing manager is responsible for the lifecycle management of retail footwear in the brands including The Original Muck Boot Company, XTRATUF, NEOS, Ranger and Servus by Honeywell. He/she will be responsible for driving revenue growth in North America through the management and execution of new product strategies and marketing campaigns while partnering with sales, R&D, supply chain, finance and other functional resources Responsibilities include: • Be the expert in retail footwear markets - players, trends, business drivers, technologies, standards, regulations and economics. Understand competitive landscape, how we win and why competitors win • Drive the growth and roadmap of retail footwear offerings. Work closely with R&D for the design and development of new products based on market intelligence • Analyze and develop market segmentation with the objective of offering credible, unique, relevant footwear products to meet the needs and requirements of each segment; understand and leverage the segment "willingness to pay" and " cost to serve" • Lead voice of customer (VOC) efforts, partnering with channel and sales teams throughout the new product development (NPD) and launch process • Support the development of business plans for strategic projects associated with new products, cost reductions and other growth initiatives. • Provide regular accurate and rigorous reporting on the existing footwear business to drive incremental sales and profits. Assess and report achievable margin and pricing for all product lines. Work with marketing leadership to define pricing & rationalization strategies on an annual basis • Managing supply and demand to ensure customer expectations are met by working with sales, channel management, supply chain, and Sales and Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) • Develop training tools & campaigns for the sales team that focus on the product strengths in key applications that meet the end users' requirements • Collaborate with the marketing communications to drive awareness, consideration, preference and purchase of retail footwear offerings by organizing communications activities including promotions, ad placements, trade events/shows, press releases as well as marketing materials such as brochures, datasheets and catalogs BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelors degree in marketing or technical field • 4 years experience in product marketing PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience promoting footwear to the retail market • Ability to think strategically and to scope tasks and set goals • Ability to work with and provide insight and narrative to senior management • Strong ability to manage customer and other third party relationships • Ability to thrive in faced-paced, results-driven organization • Strong business-to-business analytical, financial, strategic thinking and marketing skills • Strong written and presentation communication skills; high proficiency in MS Excel and Powerpoint • Proven track record executing marketing projects and programs As an equal opportunity employer, Honeywell is a diverse workforce employer.
