Mechanical Technician 1 / Machinist Apprentice. Candidate will fabricate/machine piece part components from verbal, written communication or formal design drawings. fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies. Work to be performed under close supervision. High School degree with some understanding of Manual mills and Lathes operation a plus. Programming in MasterCam version 9 or higher a plus. Willingness to work overtime when needed to satisfy customer requirements. Previous experience and education in manufacturing principles through community college or the NTMA preferred. This requisition is to fill day and possible night shift positions. Working hours on a 9/80 schedule Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: High School degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years related experience. Willingness to work overtime when needed to satisfy customer requirements. This requisition is to fill day and possible night shift positions.
